Take Control of Your Creative Power: Find Your Passion

The first step in taking control of your creative power is to find your passion. Some people think this idea is a fantasy where we can pretend to be in La La Land where everything is easy. Not so. Our Passion includes our questions, doubts, and disappointments, as well as our hopes and dreams. All of these can be blessings that keep us connected to our values and who we really are on the inside. To find your passion you'll need to know how to access your inner-world of imagination.

Many over confident people, however, will tell you that passion is something you need to rid yourself of to purify your soul. This is a bunch of HOLY BALONEY! Nothing could be more soul-less than perpetuating this insidious myth! Motivational speaker, author and musician, Dom Famularo, explains what happens when we allow passion to fuel our dreams.

Passion Fuels the Imagination

"So many of the details of life fall into place when we are passionate. So many of the obstacles become less threatening, and so much of the hard work thats often necessary for success seems less like a chore and more like a privilege. Its no accident that so many successful people in life are passionate."

Dom uses the analogy of a train to make his point.

"If success were a moving train, passion would be the trackIts the hub, the nexus, the beginning, middle and end of so much of what success is all about. Just as you cant get very far on a train without having to move on a track, you cant get very far in life without (passion)."

When we choose to submerge this essential part of ourselves, our passion, we can lose the very essence of who we are and the ability to listen to our quiet inner-voice. Oddly people can spend their whole lives running away from this connection to their creative power and never stop to look back at what they've lost. By rediscovering this world and staying connected to it you'll find creative energy and passion to fuel your spirit and keep you on track to reach your dreams.
