While American girls seem to do better in English and History subjects in school and American boys tend to do better in Science and Math, it is not the case in Asia. Asian girls tend to do just as well in Science and Math as boys. In fact, when Asian girls come to the USA, they tend to do better than American boys most of the time. There is no real answer on why this is true, however experts have several theories on the topic.

Experts believe that because the Asian culture has a different school structure, it could be the reason Asian girls are better at these boy subjects. Children in Asia go to school longer throughout the day and more throughout the year than American students. Therefore, it can be concluded that this is a good reason the Asian girls and boys are more advanced.

However, other experts feel that the difference in success is due to the fact that Science and Math are taught to greater lengths in Asia. Where the children in America get a better rounded study curriculum that includes humanities and arts, the students of Asia dont always get those opportunities. This doesnt mean one is better than the other, but it does mean that often times the Asian girls and boys are more advanced in certain subjects and lack knowledge of humanities and arts.
